The Adventure Boat
Our RIB boat (rigid-inflatable boat) is a lightweight and high-performance vessel designed to provide stability as well as speed. Its low profile allows passengers to view marine life - whales, dolphins, sea lions, and aquatic plants - up close. With a capacity to accommodate up to six people, Makai Tours provides personalized tours that are flexible for each group. We offer private paddleboard tours, bay cruises, whale and dolphin watching excursions, dock and dine trips, on-water firework and concert viewing, and we can even sail guests to a remote surf spot or secluded beach only accessible by boat. We also provided services for film and commercial productions and can be hired as a support vessel for specialized races.
Located at Sunroad resort Marina on harbor island, we are conveniently close to the airport, downtown and Point Loma. There is limited free parking as well as paid parking on the premises.
Your Captain
Brandon has been operating vessels at sea for more than 20 years. His experience ranges from working private charters and yachts to fishing boats. He has sailed the waters of Hawaii, the Caribbean, and California giving him the knowledge and versatility to recognize the diverse needs of his passengers and create a unique tour experience. He is a certified 100 Ton United States Coast Guard Captain as well as a Professional Association of Diving Instructors open water scuba diving instructor.
